Hawzah News Agency – Imam al-Sadiq peace be upon him says:

أربَعٌ مِن عَلاماتِ النِّفاقِ: قَساوَةُ القَلبِ، وجُمودُ العَينِ، والإصرارُ علَى الذَّنبِ، والحِرصُ علَى الدُّنيا.

'There are four signs to a hypocrite: hardheartedness, dryness of the eyes, persistence in sinning, and greed for the world.'
