Hawzah News Agency – The President called for the acquisition of knowledge about Laylat al-Qadr, saying, "The existence of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and the Qur'an are two important sources for guiding all human beings".
Ayatollah Raisi added, "Some people were present at the time of the Prophet (PBUH) and heard the verses of the Qur'an and saw his behaviour, but they did not believe, but hundreds of years later, people who had never seen the Prophet received the message of the Prophet (PBUH), they followed the path of Islam and sacrificed themselves, their families and their property and existence for dear Islam".
Stating that the humanity of human is formed through communication with the Qur'an, Mr Raisi added, "In the month of Ramadan, God is the host and people are the guests, so no one has the right to be disappointed, because God has invited us so that He can answer our words, whispers and desires with His grace and mercy, and has bestowed His mercy on us".
Advising the young to read the two books "Forty Hadiths" and "Imam Khomeini's Dawn Prayer", the President emphasised, "Imam Khomeini (RA) was a student of the Prophet's school".
Dr Raisi added, "People should know that they should be held accountable for what they do and don't".
Emphasising on recognising the knowledge of the Imams (AS) and especially H.H Fatimah Zahra (AS) on Laylat al-Qadr, the President said, "Imam Khomeini (AS) always invited people to God and if the warriors got into trouble on the fronts, he told them to look at themselves, lest pride be created for them".
"Imam Khomeini (RA) in his behaviour paid attention to God and the people," he said.
Ayatollah Raisi added, "Imam Khomeini paid attention not only to the salvation of the deprived, but also to the salvation of every oppressed person anywhere in the world".
He said, "All officials should pay attention to the society and people's lives".

Speaking at Imam Khomeini's Mausoleum on the eve of the 19th of the holy month of Ramadan, Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi said, "Laylat al-Qadr is the night of hope and asking for forgiveness from God and the night that the fate of all human beings is formed at this night".
