Hawzah News Agency – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian paid tribute to all the martyrs of Palestine and the Resistance, he strongly condemned the desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque by the Zionist regime.

Amir Abdollahian made the remarks in a phone call with Chairman of the Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh.

What happened in Al-Aqsa Mosque shows the resistance of the heroic and brave people of Palestine and the helplessness of the Zionists, he added.

Undoubtedly, the Zionist regime has become too weak to stand against the Palestinian people’s movements and the resistance that created the epic of Operation Saif al-Quds.

Today, the resistance is in its best situation, while the Zionist terrorist regime is the weakest.

The Islamic Republic of Iran supports formation of an integrated Palestinian government in Palestine with Holy Quds as its capital.

He stressed holding diplomatic talks with the foreign ministers of the Islamic countries to condemn and stop the occupying regime’s aggressions in Holy Quds.

He referred to the Zionist regime's action in attacking the worshipers and desecrating Al-Aqsa Mosque as the negative effects of normalizing relations by a few Arab-Islamic countries with the fake Israeli regime.

Haniyeh, for his part, stressed that Palestine today is faced with two options: accepting the Judaization of Al-Aqsa Mosque or resisting against the Zionist regime, and that the Palestinian people and resistance groups have chosen the path of resistance with power and sacrificed martyrs.

He lauded Iran’s support for the Palestinian cause to liberate Palestine, Holy Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque.

He also called for increasing diplomatic consultations at the level of Islamic countries, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), and the United Nations Security Council to denounce and stop the Zionist regime’s aggression.
