Hawzah News Agency – In a phone conversation, Hoj. Ahmad Marvi also congratulated the recent appointment of Seyyed Isa Mohammad Saleh al-Khorasan, the new custodian of Imam Ali holy shrine in Najaf, Iraq.
Pointing to the huge importance of Imam Ali holy shrine for Shias throughout history, Hoj. Marvi stressed: “The historical significance of Imam Ali holy shrine for Muslims, and the fact that many grand Islamic scholars have been trained there, make its protection even more imperative for us; therefore, Imam Reza holy shrine is ready to transfer experience for safeguarding this important spiritual legacy”.
He concluded his phone call by appreciating the decent accommodation of Iranian pilgrims to Imam Ali holy shrine, wishing more success for the holy shrine in future.
