Hawzah News Agency –The courtyard of the Qibla Gate of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) hosted this Friday morning (24 Jumada al-Thaniyah 1443 AH) corresponding to (January 28, 2022), one of the largest celebrations for the graduating university students for the last academic year (the third al-Kafeel batch of girl).
The central graduation ceremony for Iraqi university students was organized by the Al-Kafeel Women's Religious Schools Division of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, under the slogan: (From the light of Fatima - peace be upon her - we light the world), and more than (1,000) students participated in it from (13) affiliated universities of (12) Iraqi governorates from the north to the south of the country with various specializations, and the ceremony was held in honor of the auspicious anniversary of the birth of the Lady of Women Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her).
The festive event began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran followed by the reader Ammar al-Hilli, followed by the recitation of Surat Al-Fatihah in memory of the souls of the righteous martyrs of Iraq. This was followed by the speech of the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, by the member of its board of directors and head of the Education and Higher Education Authority, Prof. Dr. Abbas Rashid al-Moussawi.
This was followed by the swearing in of the graduation oath in front of the shrine of the Master Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), after which his blessed Ziyarat was recited collectively, and the conclusion was with Dua al-Faraj of the Imam of the Order and Time (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance), after which they went to perform the Ziyarat of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas and Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon both of them).
It is hoped that the activities of the central celebration will continue to resume this Friday afternoon, with a meeting that will bring them together with the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; His Eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, and listen to an instructive and educational speech.
The female students expressed their overwhelming joy at this event, indicating that the celebration inside the courtyard of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), and their graduation oath is only a turning point in their future life, and that they will do everything they can to serve this country, presenting their thanks to the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine and the Division of Al-Kafeel Women’s Religious Schools for this initiative and kind attention.
