Hawzah News Agency –People of media are among various groups rendering services to the pilgrims of Imam Reza holy shrine in Mashhad, northeast Iran. According to the executive secretary of Imam Reza Media Festival, media activities and content production by media activists have paved the way for people’s more contacts with the holy shrine on one side, and helped promotion of the Razavi culture on the other side.
Referring to a tradition by Imam Reza (AS), Hushmand said: “Imam Reza (AS) has said: “Mercy and blessings of God to the person who revives our job, learns our knowledge and teaches them to the public. If people were aware of our words’ beauties, they would follow us”.
Speaking about the second edition of the media festival, Hushmand said it has tried to pave the way for more cooperation on the part of media activists and all the public so that new capacities could be opened for network creation of media servants of Imam Reza (AS).
The secretariat of the festival has highlighted four main goals for the second round of the festival. These goals include identification and network creation of media servants and creating more interactions with producers and distributors of media content on Razavi culture, generalization and expansion of media productions related to the Razavi conduct in the context of different media especially modern media, networking and supporting creators of Razavi media works, and finally deepening media contents related to Razavi teachings and conducts.
Hushmand went on to say: “Topics of the festival are also divided into four parts which include Razavi conduct, Razavi pilgrim and pilgrimage, Razavi endowment and donation, and Razavi services. Moreover, evaluating works published in the international media is also one of the major changes in Imam Reza International Media Festival 2022”.
He went on to say: “The press and news agencies, audiovisual media, virtual media, photography and graphics, and, student theses and dissertations are main areas about which participants can send their works”.
In virtual media section, the focus is on users’ productions in the cyberspace and social networks of Instagram and Twitter as well as game and software design, he added.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Hushmand said that all the public and media activists can send their works to the second edition of the festival latest by April 4, 2022 adding that the closing ceremony of the event will be held on upcoming June.
