Hawzah News Agency-Son nation inaugurates International Islamic school in Japan, namely Yuai International Islamic School. This school building has actually been established since 2010, but because there are financial constraints and human resources issues, it can only be opened in 2016. The founders are those who have tried to be active in the world of education in Tokyo and the surrounding areas. Formally starting this year to establish a foundation official (in Japanese) named FGA Education Foundation.
The Foundation in cooperation with the Islamic Center of Japan which is the oldest Islamic organization in Japan. They have the same vision in building a school for shaping children who have intellectual, spiritual, social and endurance who are better able to contribute to society.
Chairman of the FGA Education Foundation, Yetti Dalimi said Muslims in Japan are experiencing a serious problem which he termed “the lost generation”, the younger generation who were born and raised a Muslim family but increasingly distant from the values of Islam when they grow up. In fact there do not consider themselves a Muslim.
He hoped that the school is able to form these children to become a Muslim who is brilliant, happy and proud of its identity, and is able to merge and cooperate with various elements and contribute to humanity.
As an international school, Yuai plays a very big role. Even the existence of Yuai is expected to become a model school for educating children of different nationalities in the minority Muslim countries.
