Hawzah News Agency- In a message marking the arrival of Ramadan, Hojatoleslam Hakimollahi extended greetings to Imam Mahdi (PBUH), Muslims worldwide, and all those observing fasting, emphasizing that Ramadan is “the month of Allah,” a sacred time for worship, fasting, and reflection on the Holy Quran. He urged believers to use this period for inner purification and for renewing their commitment to divine teachings.
Ramadan: School of Taqwa and Spiritual Discipline
Hakimollahi highlighted that Ramadan serves as a “school of piety” and a field of self-discipline, in which engagement with the words of God breathes new life into the human soul.
He called upon scholars, preachers, and educators to leverage this “divine opportunity” to convey the pure teachings of the Quran and the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT), to reinforce the foundations of faith, and to promote Islamic unity. Special attention should also be given to addressing the intellectual and spiritual needs of younger generations with wisdom and insight.
Building a Spiritually Vibrant Society
According to Hojatoleslam Hakimollahi, believers can contribute to building a spiritually enriched and harmonious society by performing regular prayers, reciting and reflecting upon the Quran, observing the sacred Night of Power, showing solidarity with the needy, and maintaining family ties. Such acts, he said, reflect the unity and strength of the global Muslim community.
He also urged the faithful to turn to God in prayer for the hastening of the reappearance of Imam Mahdi and to pray for the health, longevity, and continuous success of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Prayer for Protection and Divine Blessings
Concluding his message, Hakimollahi prayed that Allah grants believers the ability to truly observe fasting and upright worship during Ramadan, enables them to benefit from the spiritual blessings of Laylat al-Qadr, and protects the Muslim community from division and harm.
“May this sacred month bring us closer to God, strengthen our bonds with the Quran and the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT), and manifest the essence of a united and spiritually vibrant Islamic society,” he said.
