Speaking to Hawzah News Agency, Hemmatian said the Olympiad, conducted at the Imam Hassan Askari (PBUH) Mosque in Qom, is being held nationwide and spans grades one through ten across three levels. He emphasized that the competition aims to deepen students’ knowledge of the history, life, and character of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
“The large number of participants from Qom reflects the strong interest of students in Islamic history,” Hemmatian said, adding that such scientific competitions serve as an important platform for research and study in the seminary. He noted that early exposure to the Prophet’s life could inspire students to pursue further academic work in Islamic history and tradition.
Hemmatian also praised the enthusiastic reception of the Olympiad, stating, “The turnout is very promising. We hope that seminary initiatives and the country’s scientific community will continue to expand attention to the study of the Prophet’s teachings each year.”
