Hawzah News Agency- “Unity is not merely a religious concept—it is a social, political, and cultural necessity for the Islamic Ummah,” Ayatollah Faqihi stated. Citing verse 103 of Surah Al-Imran and the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and Imam Ali (AS), he underlined that unity brings divine mercy, while division invites punishment and societal decline.
He added that the Infallible Imams (AS) provided both spiritual guidance and practical models for building unity through love, communication, compassion, and mutual respect among believers. Their efforts to bridge political and sectarian divisions remain timeless examples of leadership and resilience.
Ayatollah Faqihi also highlighted that love for one’s homeland and the pursuit of social justice are key drivers of national solidarity and societal advancement. “A united Islamic nation,” he said, “draws its strength from shared faith, mutual respect, and a commitment to justice—this is what protects us from all forms of aggression.”
The interview concluded with a call to action: preserving unity is not only a moral and religious duty but a safeguard for the future dignity and strength of the Islamic world.
