Pakistani Scholars Call for Boosting Interactions Between Shia, Sunni Muslims

A group of Pakistani scholars who have traveled to Qom city emphasized the importance of boosting communication between Shiites and Sunnis and considered it to be the reason for the elimination of doubts and misunderstandings.

Hawzah News Agency- the introduction meeting was held at a group of Pakistani scholars’ residence in Qom on Monday, February 6 who have traveled to Iran on behalf of the country's Ummat e Wahida party.

Seyyed Abdullah Shah Al-Husseini, the founder of Jamaat Anwar al -Islam, while thanking the Hawzah News, considered the existence of a unified thought to preserve the sanctity of the holy places as a sign of the unity of the two brotherly countries of Iran and Pakistan and added,” We have observed here that the same way that Sunni Muslims emphasize unity while considering commonalities, Shia scholars and elders emphasize unity among Muslims and avoid division and differences.”

Also, Mufti Muhammad Muzaffar Iqbal from Faisalabad, Pakistan and the head of Osmania community in Thaman Abad also said,” Being far away from each other creates hatred, but being close and meeting each other creates love and eliminates problems; Because problems and doubts remain until they are not raised. Therefore, mutual interactions among Sunni and Shia scholars must continue. I request my friends to convey the kindness and teachings they got from Iran to others and fulfill their mission so that our people will know about the kindness of Iranian people.”

Hujjat al-Islam Abbas Rizvi, one of the clerics of Pakistan, also said,” It is appropriate for Hawzah News Agency to create a context in which all schools of thought in Pakistan, institutions and their officials are identified and a scientific meeting is held in Iran where these people express their opinions and you also speak your own words, you will finally see how many problems and doubts disappear.”
