Hawzah News Agency- Speaking at the gathering, Hojatoleslam Mousavizadeh, head of the seminaries’ Arbaeen committee, hailed the massive turnout of the Iraqi people at the funeral of the “martyr Imam” of the Islamic Revolution. He described the historic procession as a remarkable display of loyalty and insight by the Iraqi nation.
“This immense gathering is a symbol of the united Islamic Ummah, a bond that grows stronger by the day through the blood of the resistance martyrs,” Mousavizadeh stated.
The two sides underscored the importance of bolstering cooperation and synergy to better serve the pilgrims of Imam Hussein (PBUH) during the Arbaeen commemoration.
‘Bond Rooted in Ashura Culture’
For their part, the tribal leaders of Diwaniyah reaffirmed their commitment to lasting solidarity, brotherhood, and unity between the two nations. They emphasized that this bond is rooted in the culture of Ashura and the school of the Ahlulbayt (PBUT) and will endure forever.
The elders further declared that chants of “Down with America” and “Down with Israel” embody the unwavering stance of Muslim nations against global arrogance and the Zionist regime. “This cry will continue until the victory of the resistance front is achieved,” they said, adding that the immortal slogans of “Labbaik Ya Hussein” and “Hayhat Minna al-Dhilla” remain a source of inspiration for all free people.
