Iran Has Shattered America's Hegemony: Senior Pakistani Shia Official

Hojatoleslam Syed Murid Hussain Naqvi, Vice President of the Wifaq al-Madaris al-Shia in Pakistan, has declared that the Islamic Republic of Iran, through its steadfastness, has broken and dismantled the fear of America across the region and the world.

Hawzah News Agency- Speaking at Imam Ali Mosque in Lahore, Naqvi stressed that there is no longer any need to fear the United States. "The Islamic Republic of Iran, through its resilience, has shattered the myth of American intimidation in the region and beyond," he stated.

The Pakistani religious scholar further warned against the untrustworthiness of Washington's policies, adding: "America is by no means a reliable partner for nations. Today we are witnessing this country exerting intensified pressure on Muslim countries to force them into accepting the so-called 'Abraham Accord.' The Islamic world must unanimously and firmly declare its rejection of this pact and not allow Muslim interests to be traded away at the negotiating table of powers."

Naqvi emphasized that American interference has now become one of the primary drivers of instability and insecurity in Arab countries, asserting that the way out of this predicament lies in reliance on domestic capabilities and Islamic unity.

Addressing the spiritual dimensions of Eid, the Vice President of Wifaq al-Madaris al-Shia criticized the neglect of the occasion's true meaning by some. "Some celebrate Eid yet remain heedless of its depth and philosophy. The essence of Eid is 'returning to Allah'—the human being's return to the Creator and to religious teachings. We are obligated to grasp the sublime concepts of sacrifice and submission to the Divine command," he said.

He further denounced the infiltration of non-religious cultural practices into religious ceremonies, stating: "Organizing gatherings of frivolity, entertainment, and music on the day of Eid stands miles apart from authentic Islamic teachings and desecrates the sanctity of this great day."
