Hawzah News Agency- Shaykh al-Saduq narrated from his father, from Sa’ed ibn Abdullah, from Yaqoob ibn Yazid, from Muhammad ibn Abi Umayr, from Durost ibn Abi Mansoor on the authority of someone that Imam Sadiq (pbuh) said:

حُبُّ الدُّنيا رَأسُ كُلِّ خَطيئَةٍ

The love for the world is the root of all sins.
