Hawzah News Agency- Amal Al-Mutawari, Head of the Women’s Quranic Activities Unit at the department, explained that the competition followed preliminary qualifiers held across all governorates, with the top performers advancing to the final round to compete for the first three positions.
She added that the participants ranged in age from those born between 2005 and 2013, noting that the event aims to promote Quranic awareness and culture among girls, and to inspire the younger generation to uphold Quranic values amid modern intellectual challenges.
Through such initiatives, the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine reaffirms its pioneering role in promoting Quranic culture and nurturing the younger generation, supporting Iraqi youth—both male and female—in strengthening their religious awareness and Islamic values, and continuing its commitment to serving Iraqi society through educational and cultural programs of distinction.
