Blessings of Imam Mahdi (AS) for an English Muslim Couple

During the month of Muharram, an Iranian preacher in England met a young couple who were serving the mourners of Imam Hussein (AS) with love and devotion. What made their presence striking was that both were formerly Christians, now Shia Muslims, and practicing doctors in the UK.

Hawzah News Agency- In an interview, the woman recounted a remarkable experience that became the turning point of her faith.

She explained that while she embraced Islam wholeheartedly after conversion, she struggled to understand the belief in the last Imam, Imam al-Zaman (AS), and his long life. This doubt lingered in her heart until she performed the Hajj pilgrimage with her husband.

On the Day of Arafah in the plain of Arafat, amid the immense crowd and oppressive heat, she became separated from her caravan. Exhausted and distressed, she sat down in tears and called upon God for help.

At that moment, a luminous young man with a clear English accent approached her. Gently, he asked if she was lost and offered to guide her. Within only a few steps, she suddenly saw her London caravan before her. As she turned to thank him, he said, “Give my greetings to your husband.”

Surprised, she asked who had sent the greetings. The young man replied: “Tell him it is from the last Imam and the Savior of the end times, about whom you have been in doubt. I am the one whose long life you have questioned.”

Before she could respond, he disappeared into the crowd, leaving no trace.

Since that encounter, the couple has devoted themselves to serving in Muharram ceremonies, on the Day of Arafah, and during mid-Sha ‘ban, cherishing the memory of this extraordinary blessing and longing to once again meet the Imam of the Time (AS).
