Hawzah News Agency- Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Hassan from al-Hassan ibn Ali ibn Yusuf ibn Baqqah from Sayf ibn ‘Umayra from Ibrahim ibn ‘Umar who heard Imam Sadiq (pbuh) said:
إِنَّ أَمْرَ الله كُلَّهُ عَجِيبٌ إِلا أَنَّهُ قَدِ احْتَجَّ عَلَيْكُمْ بِمَا قَدْ عَرَّفَكُمْ مِنْ نَفْسِهِ.
Indeed, all of God’s affair is wondrous; yet He has established His proof against you through what He has already made you know of Himself.(1)
(1) Commentary: This means one must know Allah only to the extent He has made Himself known to human beings - not more and not less.
