Unveiling Russian novel "Jackals Are No Match for the Lion" on General Soleimani's life

the Russian novel, "Jackals no match for the Lion" adopted from the life of the great Iranian Martyr, Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani, will soon be unveiled.

Hawzah News Agency - According to Pars Today, "Jackals Are No Match for the Lion" is a novel written by Oleg Roy, famous Russian novelist, about the great Iranian Martyr, Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani. The novel will be unveiled in a ceremony on Wednesday, April 9 at Moscow Book House. According to Pars Today, the book was authored and published within two years with the initiative of the cultural mission of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

This novel is an attractive story and covers from the adolescence to martyrdom of Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani for Russian readers.

"Jackals Are No Match for the Lion" was presented to the Russian market by the valid "Veche" publications early this year.

Oleg Roy, the author of this novel, has written more than 90 books for grown-ups and is a popular figure in Russia. He has been among the top 5 authors in recent years in terms of the works circulated and ranked first among the writers of story books.

Oleg Roy, in his meeting with Ian's cultural attaché in Russia, Masoud Ahmadvand, after finishing the book, said, "This novel has been written in an understandable style for the modern youth about a prominent personality who has been little known in Russia. This book is about the life of one of the most brilliant humans who sacrificed their lives for the glory and honor of their country and religion."

The Russian novelist added, "I wanted to thwart the false information which the Western media narrate about Martyr Soleimani for the readers and audience of my country and narrate reality about this hero by the characters of this work, instead."

Roy stated, "My other goal from writing this book, was to consolidate friendship, the friendship between the people of Russia and Iran, sustainable friendship based on mutual respect for traditions, values and culture of each other. Iranians are really like us. They are committed to their beliefs and traditions and are very honest in their religious beliefs. Like us, they commemorate their heroes and can sacrifice their lives for their land with no hesitation. Moreover, we and Iranians have common enemies. These enemies act insidiously and wickedly both towards us and them."

He continued, "General Soleimani will live forever in the minds of the Iranian people and the ideal, which he dedicated his entire life for, will triumph in the end. We are building a multipolar world; a world in which civilizations, with different religions, traditions and values, will develop beside each other. Iran will rightly be one of the poles of this world and this is just. The Iranian culture, its identity and people completely deserve this. Had Haj Qasem Soleimani dreamt of this? I think yes, and although he is no more among us, his dream will come true."

In part of the book, titled, "Writer's Word", we read, "Four and a half years have passed since the day when the Americans committed the wicked and unjustifiable assassination of General Haj Qasem Soleimani. But, five years after his passing away, Haj Qasem is not only alive among his friends and they love him, but also his enemies are scared of him. His personality has been obfuscated with fake news, the news which are totally baseless and hostile. Thus, when I started working on the book, I aimed at drawing the image of real Qasem, Soleimani."
