Hawzah News Agency- an online webinar titled "Parachinar Situation and Our Duties" has been organized by the Voice of Nation Pakistan Association.

In this online event, the Secretary General of the Pakistan Muslim Unity Council, Nasir Abbas Shirazi, political analyst Qaiser Abbas Khan, and Hujjat al-Islam Sajid Hussain Tori Sahib delivered speeches about Parachinar.

Stating that Parachinar region has a special strategic location, Syed Nasir Abbas Shirazi stated, “Unfortunately, our institutions have neglected to improve its conditions due to some internal and external pressures.”

Senior Analyst Qaiser Abbas Khan, the second speaker of the webinar, noted that whenever such tragedies happen in Parachinar, the government and national institutions try to hide the facts by citing issues related to land disputes, which is unfortunate.

He called on Pakistani Shia leaders to unite and launch a nationwide protest movement against this tragedy so that such a crime does not happen again in the future.

Speaking at the online webinar, Sajid Hussain Tori, a Parachinar cleric, said, “In the past, we used to protest by placing our martyrs in front of the district police chief’s office, but unfortunately, there was no lasting solution.”

The Pakistani religious expert added that due to the pressure of the protests, short-term solutions are being adopted, but this is not effective. Rather, Shia and Sunni should think together so that these tragedies would stop.

He further said that some people are always trying to undermine the security of the region, so they should be stopped and the leaders and advisors there should come together seriously for lasting peace in the region.
