Iran; Axis of Resistance Discourse in a Multipolar World

In a session called “Echo of the Voice of the Revolution in the International Arena,” Hujjat al-Islam Hosseini Kouhsari explained the pivotal role of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the formation of the resistance discourse, referring to the world’s multipolar era.

Hawzah News Agency- Deputy for International Affairs of Seminaries Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Mofid Hosseini Kouhsari has made some remarks in a meeting called “Echo of the Voice of the Revolution in the International Arena,” which was held at the initiative of Hawzah News Agency, referring to three important questions regarding the current state of the International world, the Islamic Revolution, and its responsibilities in the global context; The first question that arises is what is the current world order and how have international relations been shaped? The second question is where do we stand as the Islamic Revolution and how can we evaluate the achievements of the revolution in this world order? The third question is what are our responsibilities, priorities, and missions? He emphasized that these three questions are significant and should be addressed seriously in scientific and media forums.

The Islamic Republic of Iran is at the center of the resistance discourse

In response to the first question, regarding the current situation in the international arena, he stated,” Perhaps the most concise interpretation and analysis of the current situation is the analysis that many global strategists and analysts have pointed out. This analysis has also been raised in the statements of the Supreme Leader. He said that we are at a historical turning point in which the fate of many nations, cultures, and global relations is changing.

The Deputy for International Affairs of the Seminaries continued,” What is considered today as a new world order is that we have passed from a bipolar and unipolar world and entered a multipolar world. In other words, after about a hundred years, a new structure has been formed at the international level. These developments have become particularly evident after the Cold War and the collapse of the Soviet Union. Now, in the new world order, various powers are emerging, and this development will have significant effects on international relations, and the fate of nations and cultures.”

Hujjat al-Islam Hosseini Kouhsari added that such developments mean that we are in a period of historical transition in which many international systems, including traditional powers and old economic and political structures, are being rebuilt. Therefore, we are today in a situation where the decisions and actions of each country can have a wide-ranging impact on the future of the world.
