Ferdowsi University, Imam Khomeini Institute sign MOU to boost Cooperation

The memorandum of understanding between Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and Imam Khomeini Educational and Research Institute was signed by Ayatollah Rajabi and Dr. Mirzaei Shahrabi.

Hawzah News Agency- the President of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, while attending the Imam Khomeini Educational and Research Institute (RA) met with Ayatollah Rajabi and some of the deputies of this scientific institution, emphasizing on using the institute's capacities as much as possible.

At the beginning of his speech, Dr. Masoud Mirzaei Shahrabi expressed his satisfaction at visiting the Imam Khomeini Educational and Research Institute, saying,” One of the most important programs that we have defined for the Ferdowsi university is to be able to carry out transformational work, that is, the university can be used to create added value for the country, in one of these cases, we created the headquarters of transformation in humanities, which we will follow up on this issue with the special cooperation of Dr. Imani Moghadam and members of the faculty.”

He added,” We plan to be a civilization-building and model university, we do not want to engage our forces and capacities in sciences that are only imported from the West, rather we want to use religious sciences in the university.”

Mirzaei further pointed out that we have a special position in the production of science in the region and the world, but in the technological field we do not have the favorable position that we deserve. We should implement the orders of the Imams of the Islamic Revolution to implement the noble and divine values among the students and faculty members, and we consider this our priority.

At the end of his remarks, the Chancellor of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad considered Imam Khomeini Educational and Research Institute as having amazing capacities in various fields and emphasized,” Imam Khomeini Institute has famous directors and a good position among scholars and researchers, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad is proud to use this potential.”

At the end of this meeting, the memorandum of cooperation was signed between Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and Imam Khomeini Educational and Research Institute by Ayatollah Rajabi and Dr. Mirzaei Shahrabi.
