Hawzah News Agency- The Vice President of Al-Mustafa University Higher Education Complex Hujjat al-Islam Azarian announced on Sunday the call for papers for the Farabi International Conference. He also pointed out the serious role of the media in raising awareness and knowledge to strengthen and promote the messages of this international conference on various media platforms, adding,” In line with the Supreme Leader's emphasis on expanding the scientific, cultural, social and popular relations between Iran and the Islamic world on the centrality of Hakim Farabi, especially in the Central Asian region, the international conference of Hakim Farabi was approved in the Al-Mustafa Research Council and it was registered on the reference database of the Islamic world.”
He added,” The poster of the conference has been prepared in five languages: Persian, Arabic, English, Russian, and Turkish, and we want to use the capacity of about 70 international Al-Mustafa representatives in this conference to take advantage of the scientific and academic centers of these countries.”
Referring to the use of the capacity of domestic and international partner institutions in the Hakim Farabi conference, he noted that about 40 members of the scientific faculty of different Iranian universities are members of the conference’s scientific committee, and about 18 countries have announced their readiness to cooperate in this conference.
Hujjat al-Islam Azarian further announced the deadline for sending abstracts to the conference until March 10 this year, noting that the closing ceremony of the event will be held simultaneously with Hakim Farabi's demise anniversary in Qom and Tehran.
It should be noted that, in another part of this meeting, the poster of the Hakim Farabi International Conference titled "Farabi's Position in the Development of theoretical and practical wisdom" was unveiled.
Abu Nasr Muhammad al-Farabi, known in the West as Alpharabius, was an early Islamic philosopher and music theorist. He has been designated as "Father of Islamic Neoplatonism", and the "Founder of Islamic Political Philosophy".
