Grand Ayatollah Javadi

Grand Ayatollah Javadi stated, ” You need to express the message of the Islamic seminary as a solution to the problems in society. In management issues, simply advising officials does not suffice. Advice is for young people who know the way and might go astray, but management issues call for practical solutions, not advice.”

Hawzah News Agency- Shia scholar Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli had a meeting with a group of members of the General Assembly of Qom Seminary on Monday, November 21 during which he said,” There is a difference between hope and desire. "Desire" is to wait for the result without any action. A farmer who has planted something and is waiting for rain is in a state of hope, but a farmer who has not planted anything and is waiting for rain is in an instance of desire!”

He added,” You need to express the message of the Islamic seminary as a solution to the society. In management issues, simply advising officials does not suffice. Advice is for young people who know the way and might go astray, but management issues call for practical solutions, not advice.”

A prominent commentator of the Holy Qur'an further said,” even If the leader is Ali ibn Abi Talib (PBUH), having a good leader is one side of the matter, on the other hand, the group of officials must act correctly. Our country enjoys numerous natural resources, we have almost 1% of the world's population, but we have 10% of the world's resources, which should be organized with proper planning.”

Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli emphasized the need to respect the blood of the martyrs and noted,” We had martyrs who resisted with all their might during the brutal winter of Iranian Kurdistan Province to protect the trenches but they eventually froze from the cold and were martyred in this way. These pure bloods of martyrs are considered as Iran’s valuable resources. In addition, the people themselves are the country's capital and, according to Nahj al-Balagha, they are the pillar of the religion; therefore, the necessities of the people should be paid attention to.”
