Hawzah News Agency- senior Shia scholar Grand Ayatollah Hussein Nouri Hamedani made some remarks in the celebration of the Seminary students held in the office of this Source of emulation. Grand Ayatollah considered Eid al- Ghadir as a good opportunity to introduce pure Islam and said, "The greatest injustice in human history is to deny Ghadir and we need to compensate for the losses.”
“Such injustice brought inviolability to the body of Islam and caused some people to be deprived of the governorship of infallible Imams, the consequences of which will remain until the Day of Judgment, and this is the biggest injustice in history.”
This Shia source of emulation continued to explain the place of Imamate and the importance of Ghadir Khumm incident and pointed out, “Ghadir is a rational answer to monotheistic issues and Imamate is the main part of belief in Monotheism; therefore the society without Imamate and governorship of the holy infallibles can be destroyed. Eid al-Ghadir is a historic and fateful event until the Day of Judgment. Imamate and Ghadir are important pillars of monotheism. “
Ayatollah Nouri Hamedani further pointed to the need to recognize the prominent and distinguished position of the commander of the Faithful Imam Ali (PBUH) and added, “Imam Ali was the completed prophecy and the guidance of people, so knowing this as the main pillar of religion is one of the fundamental issues of Islam. We must be careful about Ghadir so that the adversaries do not create deviations in its recognition and introduction as they have done in the past, because Ghadir is the main topic of Shia.”
The senior Shia scholar considered preserving the achievements of Ghadir as one of the important duties and concluded, “If the religious people give more importance to Ghadir and promote it in a way that it becomes universal like Ashura Day, and then Ghadir issue will definitely be in a better situation.”
