Hawzah News Agency –Amir Abdollahian discussed issues related to the Islamic world and the Islamic Ummah, the process of bilateral relations and multilateral cooperation between Iran and the OIC and as well as reopening Iranian mission in OIC.
Appreciating the efforts made by the OIC Secretary General to reopen the Iranian diplomatic mission in Jeddah, he pointed to some issues of the Islamic world and his role as Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in solving these problems.
Emphasizing that the Islamic Republic of Iran and Saudi Arabia are two important countries in the region and the Islamic world and that the role of the great Islamic countries is effective in helping solve of the Islamic Ummah problems, he expressed hope that dialogue and cooperation between the two countries will be resolved.
Meanwhile, Hissein Brahim Taha welcomed reopening and active participation of the Islamic Republic of Iran's mission in the OIC.
He termed Iran's role as an active member of the OIC as very important and effective and stressed that this organization can solve problems without the active participation of all Islamic countries.
He supported holding talks between Iran and Saudi Arabia, and stressed that the emergence of problems between Islamic countries is unfortunate, and that the organization invites Muslim and brotherly countries to peace and dialogue.
