Hawzah News Agency- In a sharply worded statement, the Lebanese political group denounced what it called reckless and hostile rhetoric targeting the Islamic Republic of Iran and its leadership, warning that such threats constitute a dangerous escalation and an open endorsement of state-sponsored intimidation.
The statement referred to recent remarks by Trump claiming that “if Iran does anything, it will be wiped off the face of the earth,” stressing that such language exposes Washington’s true posture toward international law and global stability. According to the group, it is the United States and its protégé, the occupying Israeli regime, that stand accused before the world for committing crimes within and beyond their borders.
The Islamic Action Front expressed astonishment at the silence of the international community in the face of Trump’s repeated threats and provocations, recalling a pattern of conduct that includes open threats to occupy Greenland, attempts to abduct the Venezuelan president and his wife, the plunder of Venezuela’s oil and national wealth, and persistent intimidation of sovereign states, including Iran.
The statement further criticized what it described as Trump’s hubris and expansionist ambitions toward European allies, his full backing of the genocide in Gaza and the wholesale destruction of the enclave using US-supplied weapons, as well as his greenlighting of aggression against southern Lebanon. The group also pointed to sustained efforts to dismantle the resistance front in Lebanon and the imposition of crippling economic sanctions aimed at forcing the country into submission.
Reiterating its firm position, the Islamic Action Front stressed that the crude saber-rattling, American-Zionist bullying, and what it termed Trump’s terroristic and arrogant conduct will not endure. “The fate of oppressors and criminal tyrants,” the statement concluded, “is the dustbin of history. Free and dignified nations will hold accountable and reject all those whose hands are stained with the blood of innocents.”
The group reaffirmed its solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran and the axis of resistance, underscoring that threats and intimidation have historically failed to break the will of nations that stand for sovereignty, justice, and resistance to domination.
