Hawzah News Agency- Expressing concern over the latest developments between the two neighboring countries, Pezeshkian said the conflicts among Muslim nations do not reflect the will of their peoples but stem from plots orchestrated by the enemies of Islam and international Zionism aimed at dividing and weakening the Islamic world.
He emphasized that Muslim countries share deep historical, cultural, and faith-based ties, adding that the Qur’anic teaching — “Indeed, the believers are brothers” — obliges them to work together for peace, justice, and progress.
Highlighting dialogue as the only path to de-escalation, the President reaffirmed that the Islamic Republic of Iran, guided by the principle of unity — “Hold fast to the rope of Allah, all of you, and do not become divided” — stands ready to use all its capacities to promote understanding and strengthen brotherly relations between Islamabad and Kabul.
Pezeshkian stressed that the region today needs peace, cooperation, and convergence more than ever, expressing confidence that Pakistan and Afghanistan will wisely resolve their differences and restore mutual trust and friendship.
