Chairman of Pakistan Shia Ulema Council pays tribute to Pope Francis

Hujjat al-Islam Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi has expressed his condolences following the death of Pope Francis, the leader of the world's Catholic community.

Hawzah News Agency- Hujjat al-Islam Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, Chairman of the Pakistan Shia Ulema Council, has offered his condolences following the death of Pope Francis, the leader of the world's Catholic Church.

He stated in this regard,” We share the grief of the Christian community and offer our condolences to them for this huge loss.”

Pope Francis always opposed extremism in his speeches and played a prominent role in promoting the spirit of peace, tolerance and peaceful coexistence among religions.

It is worth noting that Pope Francis (Jorge Mario Bergoglio), the spiritual leader of the world's Catholic Christians, passed away at the age of 88. The Vatican announced his death in an official statement. Pope Francis was the first Latin American leader of the Catholic Church and died after a period of illness.
