Hawzah News Agency- Speaking at a ceremony marking Judiciary Week, Judiciary Chief Hojatoleslam Gholamhossein Mohseni-Ejei stated that Imam Khomeini was among the most distinguished students of Imam Hussein's (PBUH) school. He emphasized that because the late founder of the Islamic Republic followed the path of Imam Hussein, he never feared, never despaired, and never doubted divine promises in his struggle against domestic and foreign arrogant powers.
Hojatoleslam Mohseni-Ejei further noted that Imam Khomeini's worthy successor also followed this same path, often humiliating the enemy and injecting calm into society with a single speech or brief remark when enemy plots created anxiety within the country.
The Judiciary chief highlighted that over the past year, the enemy imposed two wars and a quasi-coup against Iran, aiming to collapse the Islamic Republic or isolate the country, yet failed to achieve any of these sinister objectives. He stressed that while the enemy had calculated everything materially and drafted detailed plans, it was ultimately defeated by the will and determination of the resistant, Hussein-inspired Iranian nation.
He identified the Iranian people as the main component of the country's authority, noting that despite all hardships and economic pressures, citizens have taken to the streets for months in support of their leadership and armed forces.
Mohseni-Ejei called for preserving and strengthening national unity, warning against actions that could undermine this unity or serve enemy interests.
The Judiciary chief emphasized that the Iranian nation has confidence in divine promises, believing that by God's will, the equipment of aggressor enemies will become bogged down and miracles will occur.
The ceremony included visits to the mausoleum of Imam Khomeini, the graves of martyrs including Ayatollah Mohammad Beheshti and 72 comrades, as well as fallen commanders from various conflicts.
