Hawzah News Agency- Shaikh al-Saduq narrated from his father (may Allah be pleased with him), who narrated from Sa’d ibn Abdullah, from Ahmad ibn Abi Abdillah, from his father Muhammad ibn Khalid, via his chain of transmission, tracing it back to the Messenger of Allah (pbuh and his family), who said:
"Intellect (Aql) has been divided into three parts; whoever possesses all of them has perfected his intellect, and whoever lacks them has no true intellect:
Excellence in knowing Allah, the Mighty and Majestic,
Excellence in obeying Him,
And Excellence in having deep insight (spiritual vision) into His commands."
