Hawzah News Agency- Ayatollah Hassan Jawahiri, a prominent religious scholar and professor at Najaf Ashraf Seminary, highlighted the role of scholars in leading the Islamic nation and confronting contemporary challenges, adding, “The religious authority in Najaf Ashraf is committed to the method of justice, wisdom, and rationality.”
Referring to the prayers of Imam Ali (PBUH) in the month of Sha’ban, he called on Muslims to turn to God and obey Him, warning that divine blessings should not be ignored through disobedience, calling this act a “great evil deed.”
Ayatollah Jawahiri also noted that the role of prophets and Imams is beyond human understanding and that the divine scholars are the continuation of the path of the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT), and their role is not limited to preserving the heritage, but also includes pursuing the issues of the nation and adopting religious positions.
The professor of the Najaf Seminary called the claim of Israel's victory in Gaza a "hoax" adding,” Gaza has never been and will never be defeated.”
He also added that the joy in Gaza and the sadness among the Zionists show who the real victor is. He warned that calling for surrender to the enemy is against the way of Imam Hussein (PBUH) and stated,” The seminaries stand with the oppressed people in Gaza, Lebanon and other countries.”
He pointed to the role of betrayal in weakening the resistance fronts and, citing a historical example of the betrayal of a Hungarian in the defeat of Hungary against Napoleon, said, "The betrayal of some Arab states led to the martyrdom of a number of resistance commanders in Lebanon and Gaza, but the resistance is still strong, and for this reason Gaza was able to impose its conditions on the enemy in negotiations."
