Hawzah News Agency- Despite the security siege, popular demonstrations erupted in several areas across Bahrain. Protesters voiced their firm opposition to official domination over religious affairs and ongoing restrictions targeting religious freedoms. They also condemned the ruling regime's obstruction of Shia Friday prayers and persistent assaults on Ashura ceremonies.
Demonstrators demanded an end to policies of religious discrimination and the siege imposed on Shia religious practices. They further called for a halt to attacks against authorities, clerics, institutions and the principles of the Jafari school of thought, as well as the immediate release of all religious scholars and political prisoners.
