Int’l relations should be based on mutual commitments

Ayatollah Javadi Amoli has stated,” Even in times of war, as long as the polytheists have not broken their covenant, Muslims should not violate that covenant. This approach is recognized as one of the international rulings of Islam; economic, political and commercial relations should also be conducted carefully and based on mutual commitments.”

Hawzah News Agency- the weekly ethics lesson of Grand Ayatollah Abdullah Javadi Amoli was held in the Grand Mosque of Qom on Wednesday, January 22 and was attended by different segments of the people.

In this session, the Shia source of emulation considered patience and hope to be among the virtues emphasized in Quranic verses and hadiths and reminded that God's promise to deliver the patient to their destination is certain.

In another part of his speech, Ayatollah Javadi Amoli referred to the importance of commitment and adherence to covenants and agreements, stating,” Imam Ali (PBUH) emphasized the importance of commitment and adherence to covenants and agreements, especially in international and political relations; In all transactions, social and political relations, the principles of commitment must always be observed.”
