The Somalian ambassador to Egypt expressed his appreciation for Al-Azhar's attention to the Somalian people and the necessary support for Somali students and Al-Azhar's efforts to support Somalia in its challenges against extremism and terrorism.

Hawzah News Agency- Ali Abdi Uri, the ambassador of Somalia to Cairo, met with Ahmed al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, during which they discussed ways to strengthen Al-Azhar's propaganda and educational support for the Somalian people.

Sheikh of Al-Azhar emphasized the depth of relations between Al-Azhar and Somalia, adding, "Al-Azhar hosts more than 2,400 Somali students to study at different levels of education, from kindergarten to higher education, and is also ready to welcome Somali groups to study at Al-Azhar International Academy."

The Somali ambassador in Egypt expressed his appreciation for Al-Azhar's attention to the people of Somalia and the necessary support for Somali students who study in Al-Azhar. He also extend his gratitude for Al-Azhar's efforts to support Somalia in its challenges against extremism and terrorism and said, "Somalia heavily relies on Al-Azhar graduates to fight against Extremism and rejection of the ideas of extremist groups."
