Hawzah News Agency - On the occasion of the demise anniversary of Lady Zainab, peace be upon her, an article describing the dimensions of her personality is presented by the late Ayatollah Grand Ayatollah Safi Golpayegani:
In the name of God
Zainab, a name consisting of four letters, but she possessed all the virtues of humanity and all the values that God has enumerated in Surah Ahzab verse 35 for men and women.
A model of faith, science and knowledge, a model of patience, honesty and perseverance, an example of courage, and a lady who had her father's way of expression in eloquence, and all the virtues of a mother's morals were gathered in her, and not only Muslim women, but the whole Islamic World is proud of such a lady.
Her behavior, her hijab, her innocence and chastity, her act of worship and her grandeur are all honorable; Her majesty of officials and positions and support of religion and negation of the rule of the arrogant people of history, who condemned the arrogant leaders of the time so that the Umayyad tribe was hated by the world forever in the dustbins of history.
She protected the right of Islam, the glories of Bani Hashem, the character of her great grandfather, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and his family, and the Holy Quran, and Islam, and the religion of monotheism are all indebted to this noble lady.
It is terrifying to imagine how history would have turned out without her.
In present world, all men and women should learn lessons in the great school of Hazrat Zainab, peace be upon her, this great lady and her awe-inspiring positions and her brave defense of Islam and the Quran, and the rejection of falsehood, oppression, atheism, tyranny and weakness, and the messages of her life are significant.
It is hoped that today, Muslim women will set Lady Zainab (PBUH) as their role model and learn from that noble lady of Islam in all their religious duties and be proud of her; and the name, memory, and spiritual messages of Hazrat Zainab, peace be upon her will be alive forever.
