Grand Ayatollah emphasized the necessity of hijab and stated,” The issue of hijab is currently tied to political issues and some people say that if we can remove the hijab, the system of the Islamic Republic will be weakened.”

Top cleric did not consider violence and pressure to be effective in the issue of hijab and added,” the issue of hijab needs cultural ways in order to be solved; Of course, radio and television should pay more attention to the hijab issue and promoting it.”

Grand Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi considered governing a country in these conditions to be a difficult task and added,” The president and ministers should know that they are in a difficult situation. It is true that the enemy is actively working, but it is not so that all roads are closed and we cannot progress.”
