Hawzah News Agency- the Head of Iran’s Seminary Ayatollah Alireza Arafi traveled to Russia at the invitation of Mufti Sheikh Ravil Ainuddin, head of the Department of Religious Affairs of Russian Muslims, with the aim of participating in the "Spiritual Silk Road" International Conference. The Iranian scholar made some remarks on Sunday evening in a meeting with the ambassador, diplomats and heads of Iranian institutions at the residence of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Moscow.

The member of the Supreme Council of Seminaries, referring to his travels in about one hundred countries of the world and meetings with the elites and experts of these countries in the past four decades, said,” If the discourse of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, whose main shareholder is the people of Iran, is properly promoted in the world, it will attract many audiences in different parts of the world.”

Ayatollah Arafi, referring to the discussions raised in this meeting by the ambassador, diplomats and other heads of Iranian institutions active in Russia, said, "Cohesion, interaction and coordination in the Iranian embassy in Moscow is a matter of pride."

A member of Iran’s Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, referred to the efforts to develop cooperation between Iran and Russia in this diplomatic mission, saying, "It is necessary to draw a 50-year or 100-year road map for strengthening bilateral ties between the two countries and follow the cooperation in this framework."

The Ayatollah also elaborated on the existence of a wide range of opinions about Tehran-Moscow relations; the jurist member of the Guardian Council noted,” If we have a macro and strategic view of the East, especially Russia, we can open many doors to bilateral relations, and in the meantime, we should not neglect the role and significance of the private sector to improve mutual cooperation with Russian Federation.”
