Hawzah News Agency- Head of Iran’s Seminary Ayatollah Alireza Arafi expressed his condolences on the passing of Ayatollah Haj Seyyed Abdul Karim Hosseini Qazvini in a message, the text of which is as follows:

We belong to God and to Him we return

The passing away of the tireless and mujahid scholar Ayatollah Haj Seyyed Abdul Karim Hosseini Qazvini who spent his whole life in the Najaf Ashraf and Qom seminaries for the advancement of the principles of pure Islam and the propagation of the Ahl al-Bayt’s school, peace be upon them, made an impression on me.

This mujahid and devout scholar provided valuable scientific services to the seminaries and trained many students, and he stood against the oppression of Saddam's Baath regime to help the needy and less fortunate.

For this huge loss, I express my condolences to Hazrat Wali Asr (PBUH), the honorable seminaries of Najaf Ashraf and Qom, the family of the deceased, and their honorable children and relatives. May God have mercy on the deceased. And I pray for patience and reward for the survivors.
