Hawzah News Agency – In addition to enjoying presence of an English speaking cleric when hosting foreign visitors at the holy shrine, officials and servants of the Office for Foreign Pilgrims’ Affairs have produced handy small pamphlets to give short and to the point answers to questions of the guests of the holy shrine.
Foreign visitors are also provided with an opportunity to ask their questions on Islam and to talk about their misunderstandings on Shia beliefs. Trained and English-fluent clerics are ready there to respond to all their questions and misunderstandings.
The new initiative has been taken to get Imam Reza’s non-Muslim guests more acquainted with Islam and also to give them reliable texts for use when they face new questions at home.
This free of charge collection of pamphlets cover a wide range of themes including resurrection, women’s head covering, prophet-hood, Imam Reza (AS), Imam Mahdi (AS), pilgrimage, etc.
It is worth mentioning that the Office for Foreign Pilgrims’ Affairs is the main body in charge at Imam Reza holy shrine which gives services to the non-Muslim visitors of the complex. Showing video clips, providing visitors with source texts, giving them opportunity of visiting sacred premises and museums of the complex, offering cultural gifts, and giving tourists an opportunity to have face to face talk to Shia clergymen are some services of this office for non-Muslim visitors of the complex.
