Hawzah News Agency- the statement of the Management Center of Iranian Seminaries on the occasion of the anniversary of the destruction of the holy graves of the Shia Imams (PBUT) in Jannat al-Baqi cemetery is as follows:

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

On the anniversary of heartbreaking tragedy in which the holy graves of the four infallible Imams (PBUT) in Jannat al-Baqi were destroyed, the hearts of the believers and free people of the world, especially the lovers of the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT), are once again wounded. This great crime took place on the 8th of Shawwal 1344 AH. It is not only disrespectful to the Ahl al-Bayt and Islamic history, but also a symbol of an extremist and anti-Islamic mindset that has so far yielded nothing but violence, division and distortion of the luminous face of Islam.

The Center for the Management of Seminaries, while honoring the memory and status of the Ahl al-Bayt of the Prophet, condemns this historical tragedy, and emphasizes the necessity of rebuilding these holy sites as a universal demand from the Islamic nation and also emphasizes the demand of the great authorities and scholars of the seminaries.

Also, in these days, the oppression of Muslim nations in Yemen, Gaza, Lebanon, Bahrain, Afghanistan, Pakistan and other Islamic countries, which are under brutal attacks and the silence of international communities, is clear evidence of the continuation of the same criminal thinking that destroyed the graves of Jannat al-Baqi yesterday and sheds the blood of innocent children, women and civilians on the ground today.

The recent crimes of the Zionist regime in Gaza are a heinous and brutal genocide that is taking place in the shadow of the support of the Global arrogance and the betrayal of dependent rulers and requires the unity, insight and urgent action of the Islamic Ummah.

The Center for the Management of Seminaries, relying on the luminous teachings of the Holy Quran and Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT), calls on the scholars and elites of the Islamic world to break their silence against these crimes and call on the Islamic Ummah to resist and support the oppressed and rebuild the holy places.
