Hawzah News Agency –The Al-Kafeel Museum of treasures and Manuscripts at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine received the Ambassador of the European Union in Iraq, Mr. Ville Varjola. He was received by the Head of the Museum Department, Mr. Sadeq Lazem al-Zaidi, and the Head of the Public Relations Department, Mr. Mohamad Ali Azhar.
Al-Zaidi welcomed the ambassador, giving him a general overview of the museum, and briefed him during his tour on the latest developments in the museum and keeping pace with modernity in terms of display and storage. He was also given a brief summary of each piece, its history, display and how to preserve it.
The ambassador expressed his happiness at visiting the museum and his admiration for the distinctive and unique artifacts displayed in i,. He also expressed his admiration for the method used in the museum to display these artifacts. Stressing that it is a "charming and impressive collection... Thank you very much for giving me the opportunity to make this visit."
