Hawzah News Agency- They fall within the framework of the enemy's attempts to mislead public opinion and are part of what it considers an attempt to sabotage the agreement between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America. The media relations office indicated in its statement that the number of documented violations by the Israeli enemy since dawn on Friday has exceeded 300. These violations and attacks have ranged from airstrikes by warplanes and drones to artillery shelling of various calibers and the firing of phosphorus shells on more than 25 towns and villages, including the city of Nabatieh. This has resulted in more than 111 martyrs and 176 wounded. Initial reports indicate the use of internationally banned cluster bombs.
The statement added that the number of attacks since Saturday morning has reached at least 180, resulting in more than 28 martyrs, including three members of the Lebanese army, in addition to 35 wounded.
It emphasized that these events prove that the Israeli enemy has never adhered to the terms of the ceasefire agreements, neither those of November 27, 2024, nor April 8, 2026, nor after the announcement of the memorandum of understanding between Iran and the United States on June 14, 2026, nor even on June 19, 2026. Rather, it continues its violations through airstrikes, shelling, the destruction of homes, and the terrorizing of civilians.
The media relations office stressed that these facts confirm that the party violating the ceasefire agreement and undermining existing understandings is Israel, and that what it is carrying out is no longer merely a breach of the agreement but a blatant act of aggression and a continuation of war in every sense of the word. It called upon the international community and states The relevant parties, foremost among them the United States, must exert pressure on Israel to compel it to implement the agreements and cease its aggression.
It affirmed that Lebanon, its people, and its resistance reserve the right to defend their sovereignty against ongoing attacks and violations, a right guaranteed under international law and conventions. It further stated that attempts to impose "freedom of movement" for Israeli aggression are unacceptable and will not go unanswered, and that ending the occupation is only a matter of time.
