Hawzah News Agency- Sayed Mohammad Yazdanparast, a media activist and moderator of the meeting, considered the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as the birth of light and mercy, and said: “He is the most honorable of creatures and the best of beings who, with his appearance, raised the banner of the fight against oppression and corruption and guided humanity towards salvation and happiness''.
He added: “The appearance of Islam was the end of slavery, the burying of girls alive, and injustice, and the Prophet (PBUH) considered the acquisition of knowledge obligatory for men and women and introduced human dignity to humanity''.
Maulvi Mahboob Shah Rasikh Danjosh, professor of Darul Uloom Aali Asadiyya and preacher of Zabihullah Shaheed Jame Mosque, emphasized the grand celebration of Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) and Unity Week, saying: “The birth of the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) is a symbol of unity, empathy, love, and harmony among Muslims, and most scholars have issued a fatwa to celebrate this occasion''.
Referring to the efforts of the enemies of Islam to create division among Muslims, he said: “Unfortunately, some extremists in the Hanafi and Ja’fari schools are fueling hypocrisy and do not understand the need for Islamic unity. Minor differences should not prevent attention from being paid to the common principles of Islam''.
Hojatoleslam Sayyid Ibrahim Murtazavi, head of the Balkh Province Private Schools Union, also said: “The births of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) and Imam Ja’far Sadiq (AS) are spiritual and valuable occasions. He and his holy family have been introduced as good examples for humanity in the Quran and Hadiths''.
He emphasized that following the example of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in individual and social life is essential, adding: “Islamic brotherhood, unity, and gentleness are part of the Prophet’s character, and Muslims must stand up to the challenges of the Islamic world with greater cohesion''.
Nematullah Stanikzai, a cultural and social activist in Balkh Province, also said at the meeting: "The celebration of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is a celebration of divine rituals and, like the Hajj and Ashura ceremonies, leads to reform of society''.
Referring to the fear of the world of infidels of Muslim unity, he added: "The unity of Shiites and Sunnis has terrified the enemies of Islam. A clear example of this is the Shiites' support for Sunnis in Gaza, while some Sunni countries have remained silent about Israeli crimes''.
He concluded by emphasizing: "The scourge of extremism has engulfed Islamic societies, and only by adhering to the example of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) can we be freed from these harms and embark on the path of reform''.
