Foreign Policy: Iran Could Build a Nuclear Bomb in Under 20 Days Without Rebuilding Damaged Sites

If Iran Decides to Build a Bomb, It Has Multiple Options and Doesn’t Need to Rebuild Damaged Facilities.

Hawzah News Agency- The American magazine Foreign Policy reports: The United States and Israel are well aware that most of Iran’s highly enriched uranium stockpiles survived the recent attacks.

If the U.S. had been capable of destroying Iran’s centrifuges and uranium reserves, it would have done so. Instead, what Washington ended up doing was revealing to Iran the limits of America’s ability to destroy deeply buried facilities.

If Iran decides to build a bomb, there is no technical obstacle preventing it. This time, they could do it in a small, covert facility deep within the mountains, using fewer than 200 centrifuges—and within just 10 to 20 days.
