Iraqi Analyst: Iran Has Defeated the U.S.-Zionist "New Middle East" Project

Baghdad — Iraqi political analyst Ibrahim al-Sarraj has asserted that the Islamic Republic of Iran has successfully thwarted the U.S.-Israeli strategy to reshape the region, declaring that Iran has emerged victorious over the so-called “New Middle East” project backed by Washington and Tel Aviv.

Hawzah News Agency- Speaking to local media, al-Sarraj stated that despite military aggression, political pressure, and coordinated campaigns by the United States, Israel, and NATO, Iran has not only resisted but achieved significant victories in multiple strategic arenas.

“Iran has dealt a major blow to the Zionist regime and the American agenda,” he said. “Despite their combined efforts, they failed to force Iran to abandon its right to peaceful nuclear energy.”

Al-Sarraj emphasized that the Islamic Republic has firmly established its right to uranium enrichment, noting that even targeted sabotage, including attacks on its nuclear facilities, has not succeeded in derailing Iran’s nuclear program.

The analyst further noted Iran’s steadfastness in maintaining its missile development efforts despite international sanctions and intense propaganda campaigns.

“Tehran did not surrender under military threats or political pressure,” he explained. “Iran has not raised the white flag. Instead, it has stood firm and emerged as a regional bulwark, effectively dismantling the American-Zionist project aimed at redrawing the region’s map.”

According to al-Sarraj, Iran’s strategic endurance and resistance have redefined the geopolitical balance in the Middle East, positioning the country as a leading force in the struggle against Western intervention and regional destabilization.
