Hawzah News Agency - According to Pars Today, the Zionist regime’s attack on the Gaza Strip, the genocide of Palestinians, and the unprecedented continuation of this regime’s crimes during the Gaza war have sparked the largest wave of student protests in the United States since the anti-racism demonstrations of 2020.

These protests and sit-ins against Israel’s crimes have faced negative reactions from the U.S. government, including punishment of participants. The United States, one of the main claimants of human rights and freedoms, including the right to free expression, has repeatedly obstructed the expression of opinions and the holding of demonstrations against Israel within its borders.

Despite these pressures and restrictions, the student movement in the U.S. in support of Palestinians and in condemnation of the Zionist regime’s massive crimes has persisted. The continuation of these protests has led to many students and professors being blacklisted and expelled.

In this context, the Islamic Republic of Iran, in line with its declared and implemented policies in support of the oppressed yet resilient Palestinian people, has now extended its support to students advocating for Palestine.

In this regard, Hojjatul-Islam Abdolhossein Khosropanah, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, wrote on Saturday on his personal page on the social network "Virasty": "The behavior of global arrogance in suppressing freedom-seekers and expelling students from American universities for protesting the Zionist regime’s crimes against the oppressed people of Palestine has further exposed the true face of those who claim to champion human rights."

He added: "Iran is a home of justice and truth-seeking, and the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, in collaboration with the Academy of Sciences and the Academy of Medical Sciences, supports the admission of these students into Iranian universities."
