Hawzah News Agency- The leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky had dinner with the families of the martyrs of the Islamic Movement. The dinner, held annually as part of the Yaum al-Shuhada (Martyrs' Day) program, resumed after a ten-year hiatus following the Zaria Massacre of 2015.
In his speech, the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria emphasized the importance of sincerity and adherence to the rules and regulations prescribed by Allah for mankind. He warned of the dangers of straying from these principles and urged the families to remain steadfast on the path of their martyred loved ones.
The leader also spoke about the merits of martyrdom, the distinction between the material body and the spiritual one, and the essential factors for the growth and development of each. The dinner took place at the Sheikh's residence in Abuja. Earlier in the day, the children among the participants attended a funfair at Abuja Wonderland Park, another event scheduled as part of the program.
