Hawzah News Agency- the Head of the Association of Scholars of Tyre Sheikh Ali Yassin Al-Amili made some remarks during a speech at the mosque of Tyre Seminary called on the Lebanese government to fulfill its duties to protect the nation and its territorial sovereignty in the south, which the occupying forces of the Israeli regime violate daily and openly.
Stressing the need to call on the parties to the Ceasefire Monitoring Committee to fulfill their duties to stop these aggressions and violating actions, instead of turning a blind eye with hatred and favoritism, he stated, "Despite all the sacrifices, Lebanon will no longer be an occupied or weak country."
Sheikh Yassin went on to say that continuation of Israeli attacks on Lebanon in a clear challenge to the whole world will not change the fact that Lebanon, with its national administration, registered a defeat for the Zionist-American project that wanted to erase Lebanon from the world map, but Lebanese youth are still present and strong, and no enemy will weaken it from any point.
The head of the Tyre Scholars Association further noted,” The resistance has the best role in consolidating the sovereignty of Lebanon, which suffers from sectarianism whose only concern is their narrow-minded personal and regional interests that destroy homelands.”
He stated that the Lebanese army is the national spirit that supports all its people and must be preserved to play its role in protecting the existence of Lebanon, the ultimate homeland for all its people.
Sheikh Yassin said, “Political forces must pursue a national project that confirms that Lebanon, with all its institutions, is the ultimate homeland for all its people.”
He called on the government and relevant individuals to immediately fulfill their responsibilities towards citizens who suffer from Israeli aggression and internal shortcomings.
