Hawzah News Agency- In an interview with a Hawzah News correspondent, Shia scholar Ayatollah Abbas Ka’bi, pointed out the widespread crimes of the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip, noting that Gaza today is witnessing a human tragedy and the continuation of the Zionist genocide machine; criminals who embody the bloodthirsty Nazis of the contemporary century.
The vice president of Qom Seminary Teachers' Society added,” The economic blockade, continuous military attacks and widespread violations of human rights have killed thousands of innocent children and women, according to documented reports. The people of Gaza are struggling with a severe shortage of food, medicine, and drinking water, and these disasters are the result of Western civilization’s human rights claim.”
The member of the Presidium of Iran’s Assembly of Leadership Experts, criticizing the silence of the international community, stated,” Silence in the face of these crimes is a betrayal to humanity. More than 70 percent of the victims are civilians, including women, children, journalists, and aid workers, which shows the terrible dimensions of this humanitarian crisis.”
Attempts to silence the voice of resistance
Ayatollah Ka’bi further noted that the Zionist regime is trying to silence the voice of the oppressed people of Gaza by using military means and media censorship. The United States, as a partner in the crime, supports this regime with economic and diplomatic pressure.
Referring to the resistance of Gaza, he emphasized,” Despite the destruction of homes, schools, and hospitals with banned weapons such as white phosphorus, Gaza remains a symbol of resistance against colonialism. The Zionist regime cannot destroy the will of the people, and the message of resistance is reaching out to the world stronger every day.”
