Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli said during the meeting,” the process of investigating cases in the judicial system should not be long and it is ideal for the judicial system to draft bills and revise the relevant laws with the help of educated people and experienced judges so that the process of examining the cases is done more efficiently.”

Hawzah News Agency- Shia scholar Grand Ayatollah Abdullah Javadi Amoli had a meeting with Hujjat al-Islam Ali Mozaffari, Chief Justice of Qom, while appreciating the efforts of Iran’s judiciary, he said,” the judicial system is dependent on two pillars, one is the law of justice and the other is a fair judge.”

The top cleric expressed,” In a narration from Amir al-Momenin, peace be upon him, it is said that the one who judges should point, look, and sit equally with the parties, these things are the practice of justice! The practice of justice is for the judge to take a stand against wealth and gifts, because if his hand slips in these cases, his verdict may not be just after all!

This Shia source of emulation further noted, “the process of examining cases in the judicial system should not be so time-consuming and it is ideal for the judicial system to use educated people with the help of experienced judges to prepare bills and revise the relevant laws so that the process of examining cases is done faster and more efficiently.”
